1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the Platform:

• •Account information: name, email address, phone number, and role (landlord or tenant).
• •Listing information (landlords): property address, photos, description, pricing, and pet policy.
• •Pet profile information (tenants): pet name, species, breed, weight, age, and vaccination status.
• •Inquiry and message content: messages you send to landlords or tenants through the Platform.
• •Payment information: we collect a payment method token through Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under PCI DSS compliance.
• •Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and actions taken on the Platform.

2. How we use your information

• •To operate the Platform and provide the services you request.
• •To match tenants with pet-compatible listings using our pack-scoring algorithm.
• •To process subscription payments and send billing-related communications.
• •To send transactional emails (inquiry notifications, status updates).
• •To improve the Platform and understand how users interact with it.
• •To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Information we share

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• •Between users: when a tenant submits an inquiry, their name, email, and pet information are shared with the listing landlord. When a landlord accepts an inquiry, their contact information may be shared with the tenant.
• •Service providers: we use Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), Mapbox (maps and geocoding), and Resend (email delivery). Each provider processes data only as necessary to deliver their service.
• •Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of NestPack or others.

4. Property address privacy

By default, listing addresses are fuzzed on the map — search results show an approximate area, not an exact location. Landlords may choose to reveal their full street address to applicants. Exact coordinates are never exposed in search results.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Platform may not function correctly.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@nestpack.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), authentication via Supabase, and PCI-compliant payment handling via Stripe. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
